Getting Started

What is UGCKit?
UGCKit is an AI-powered content creation platform for social media. Create carousels, AI videos, reaction videos, talking head ads, and AI images — then schedule and publish them directly to TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You can sign up for a free account with no credit card required. The Free plan includes 1 project, 2 connected accounts, and unlimited scheduling. AI features require a paid plan.
What platforms can I publish to?
UGCKit supports TikTok, Instagram (Feed, Reels, Stories), YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Pinterest. You can connect multiple accounts per platform and post to all of them at once.

Credits & Billing

How do credits work?
Credits are used for AI-generated content. Each content type costs a specific number of credits depending on the AI model used. For example, an AI carousel costs ~50 credits, while AI video costs 15-60 credits depending on the model (Sora, Kling, Veo, etc.). Scheduling and publishing are always free.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and don't roll over. This keeps pricing simple and fair for everyone. If you consistently need more credits, consider upgrading your plan or purchasing credit packs.
Can I buy more credits?
Yes! You can purchase additional credit packs at any time from the Usage page. Credit packs are one-time purchases that are added to your current balance immediately.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and you'll be charged the prorated difference. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Content Creation

What AI models are available for video?
UGCKit supports multiple AI video models: OpenAI Sora (Sora 2 & Sora 2 Pro), Google Veo 3, Kling AI (multiple versions including v3 Master), Runway Gen-3, and Pika. Each model has different strengths, credit costs, and resolution options.
What's the difference between a Reaction Video and a Talking Head?
A Reaction Video shows an AI-generated person reacting (shocked, laughing, etc.) to a video playing on screen — great for app demos and product reveals. A Talking Head overlays an AI avatar speaking in the corner over your background video — perfect for UGC-style ads with product demos.
Can I use my own images for video generation?
Yes! AI Video supports image-to-video generation. You can upload a reference image or select one from your character assets as the first frame, and the AI will animate from it. This is supported on Sora, Kling, Runway, Pika, and Veo.
Who owns the content I create?
You do. You retain full ownership of all content you create using UGCKit. We do not claim any rights to your generated content.

Automations

What are Automations?
Automations let you set up recurring content generation on autopilot. Choose a content type (carousel, AI video, reaction video, talking head, or AI image), configure topics, set a schedule, and pick target accounts. UGCKit generates and posts content automatically at your chosen times.
Which plan includes Automations?
Automations are available exclusively on the Business plan ($99/month). This also includes 5,000 monthly credits, unlimited projects, unlimited team members, and priority support.
Do Automations use my credits?
Yes. Each automated run uses the same credits as manual creation. If your credit balance is insufficient when a run is scheduled, it will be skipped and logged as a failure. Your credits are never deducted for failed runs.

Teams & Projects

Can I collaborate with my team?
Yes! Pro plans support up to 2 team members, and Business plans have unlimited team members. Team members share the project owner's credits and connected accounts. The project owner's plan determines what features are available.
How does the "Owner Pays" model work?
When you invite someone to your project, your plan and credits are used for their work within that project. Team members don't need their own paid plan to use AI features — they use the project owner's subscription and credit balance.
